STUDYING OTHER SOLUTIONS THAT IS SIMILAR TO @wardenprotocol SPEX, I found their limitations and why warden's SPEX is a game changer.
AI in Web3 is Off-Chain: AI models, like large language models or machine learning algorithms, require significant computational power, which is impractical to run directly on blockchains due to cost and scalability limitations. These computations typically happen off-chain, introducing a trust issue: how do you verify that an AI’s output (e.g., a trading decision or data analysis) is accurate and hasn’t been manipulated?
Here are some few existing solutions and their limitations.
Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs): While secure, ZKPs are computationally intensive and slow for large-scale AI tasks, making them expensive and impractical for frequent use.
Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs): TEEs rely on proprietary hardware (e.g., Intel SGX), which introduces centralization risks and limits accessibility.
Optimistic Verification: This assumes computations are correct unless challenged, but it requires dispute periods, delaying finality and adding complexity.
But, @wardenprotocol SPEX combines statistical methods, cryptographic techniques, and blockchain consensus to verify off-chain AI computations. Warden is building a bada$$ product.
