rekt is probably the most interesting thing in crypto rn
it feels 'fresh'
the idea of a 'brand coin' as liquid goodwill is very interesting..... it will resonate with trad-fi boomers
imo to grow from here, they need to grow the brand outside of the crypto world
how do brands usually grow????
partnerships, endorsements, celebrities, athletes????
is all that stuff too boring??? do they need to do something different????
i would like to see rekt make some major moves that will resonate in the normie-verse
a few ideas off the top of my head
⁍ sign a huge action sports athlete
i would go with yuto horigome..... red bull is only paying him $300k/year, and he would be a huge piece to add in a market rekt has no exposure to that is completely outside of their (current) fanbase
⁍ buy a low-tier football team like ryan reynolds did
idk anything about soccer but buy the cheapest team with the most hooligans, turn the jersey into a fashion statement / rekt ad that zoomers world wide will want to wear
⁍ create an esports team
poach the best nerds from existing teams and create a monster team of elite geeks to shill rekt
⁍ get rekt in gta vi
this one would be hard to do but idk osf is pretty based and seems to be able to do anything 😂 cmon bro do it get rekt in gta vi and it would flip red bull
⁍ run a crazy contest
in the 90s pepsi ran a contest where you could redeem a massive number of points for a harrier jet, it was a joke and they ended up getting sued over it but it's a timeless legendary story now
rekt should run a similarly ridiculous contest where you can accumulate points and ultimately the winner gets a board seat or some other insane level of decision making power (rekt brands ceo for a week?? XXXXX% royalties for a year???)
ideally whatever it is it's crazy enough to get mainstream news coverage
⁍ anonymously run something like cicada 3301
saying this idea out loud kinda ruins it but i always wanted cicada 3301 to come back, or someone else to create a similarly interesting global 'test' like this
if a completely anon shadowy org ran a really good version of cicada and it got global attention, and the winners or the ones who make it through to the end actually just end up finding out the recipe to rekt drinks (lolololoollll) it would probably go down as a historically legendary marketing stunt

my motivation for this post was seeing the mindshare thing and i want to be on there cause they need someone that doesn't have a rekt pfp so i figure that can be me
rekt will go to billions for sure, monster drinks suck and monster energy is worth $60bn
what i'm waiting to see now is 'brand coin' derivatives
i think they are coming
making the value of your brand ('goodwill' in accounting world) liquid and tradable is really cool.... other companies will follow suit
