How a Krishna Bull from Junagadh Built Brazil’s Dairy Empire
In 1949, a purebred Gir bull from Gujarat, traced to the royal herds of Nawab Mahabat Khanji III, was sent to Brazil by private breeders.
In 1960, the bull named Krishna arrived in Brazil not through any government, but through cowherds preserving dharma.
Brazil studied it, bred it, and built a dairy revolution. The Gir cow’s heat resistance, disease tolerance, and high yield made it ideal for the tropics.
Today, Brazil is the 5th largest milk producer in the world.
Their Gir cattle are genetically superior to India’s.
They now export Gir embryos back to Bharat.
India mocked its native cow. Brazil mastered it.
