I predict this will fail. Here's why:
X. People are tired of politically motivated stories. There needs to be a separation of Story and State. GenZ is already tired with woke vs non woke. Stories are not created with a purpose to sway elections. When those with political goal invest in media it is always propaganda.
X. It's the same big budget play. So many studios with massive budgets have fallen in the last ten years. You can't win the culture war by throwing tons of cash at big budget productions.
X. There's no incubation model for younger talent. Everyone is trying to build the NFL without the talent building provided by College Sports. It's a long play. Marvel and Disney took nearly XXX years to get to where they are and that time allowed generations odd talent to be developed.
X. The publicly announced stories are specifically stories that resonate with boomers and GenX. Media empires are not built on entertainment for older audiences. Media empires are made when they successfully target younger generations and those younger audiences grow up relating to a specific brand. Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and MTV. It's an indisputable fact as obvious say the sky being blue.
