As Khaosod English reports that the Thai Army said that at 4:30 AM on Sunday, July 27, Cambodia launched an attack, firing on Thai soldiers at Ta Kwai temple on Day 4, The Phnom Penh Post also reports that Cambodian government said Thai soldiers "continued to invade Cambodian territory so far despite phone conversations between the leaders of the two countries with Donald Trump." So... if both nations have to rush to the negotiation table because of Trump, both sides might escalate quickly before they can't, seizing whatever territory they can before losing the chance due to the Trump-tariff ceasefire. This morning, the Thai Army said that Cambodia unilaterally launched an attack for the fourth day since 4:30 AM of July 27, and the Thai press reported accordingly. However, the Phnom Penh Post also just reported that Cambodian Army claim Thailand is still attacking, "invade Cambodian territory” early this morning. The truth is the first casualty of war. We cannot verify it ourselves who is telling the truth or lying. Therefore, I ask everyone to remain calm and consider all conflicting and contradictory information thoroughly.
