Neil, mate, in principle there is nothing wrong with & nor anything to fear in having an Indigenous Australian Treaty in Victoria. It’s simply acknowledging historical events. We shouldn’t fear nor censor history - both the good & bad moments. The issue is Premier Allan shouldn’t be promoting the contradictory ideology of US nationalism which has its own colonial issues with native Americans. You can’t lecture Australians on morality about “British colonialism” whilst not practising what you preach. Over X million native Americans were exterminated in the US by US govt.
