You’ve got it backwards. Outsourcing and cheap foreign labor are not caused by production—they are caused by speculation. Wall Street traders and idle financiers chased cheap hands because they were too lazy to build better machines and too greedy to pay fair wages.
As for culture—don’t blame production for that. Strong production builds strong families, strong towns, and a strong people. When men earn good wages making real goods, they raise children, buy homes, and support churches. That’s the backbone of any culture, whether in Michigan or Los Angeles.
If you want dignity back, you don’t get it by whining about who speaks Spanish. You get it by building industries that make it worthwhile for a man to learn English, buy a home, and become part of the American story.
