Being an investor is like being a good doctor; you’re looking for the signs and symptoms to understand the health of the underlying business.
It could very well be that the patient is unhealthy.
It could be that the patient is healthy but needs more discipline.
It could be that the patient should be on the operating table today.
Or it could be that the patient will live much much longer.
We also never know what’s going to happen tomorrow. All you can do is look for those signs and symptoms and place your bets.
