I’ve been thinking a lot about how frustrating it is to juggle multiple blockchains just to get something done in crypto.

You have to move assets, switch wallets, wait for confirmations on different networks.

It feels clunky and outdated.

What really caught my attention with @anoma is their fresh approach:

they don’t just build another blockchain or layer; they rethink how users express what they want in the system.

Instead of manually creating and signing every tiny transaction, you just declare your intent.

For example, “I want to swap this token for that one at a fair price,” or “I want to send a payment if these conditions are met.”

From there, the Anoma network’s “solvers” do the heavy lifting, matching intents, routing actions across chains, and settling them smoothly and securely.

This means the user doesn’t have to care about which chain their assets live on or how the transaction actually happens. The system abstracts all that complexity away.

That might sound simple, but it’s a major mental shift in how we think about interacting with crypto apps.

It’s the difference between commanding machines step by step and asking them for outcomes like you would with any service.

I think this could finally unlock a smoother, more accessible Web3 experience, where users don’t get lost in gas fees, bridges, or wallets. Instead, they just say what they want, and it happens, no hassle.

It’s still early, but if this intent-centric design takes off, it could redefine how we build and use decentralized apps for years to come.

I’m excited to see how the testnets evolve, and how builders start tapping into this new paradigm.

@anoma is one project I’m watching closely because it’s not just a new chain, it’s a new way of thinking.
