Speech of Mahab Mehrabi, sister of political prisoner Mahmoud Mehrabi at Convention of National Cooperation:

“In the name of Iran — the mother of great sorrows and even greater hopes. Greetings to my fellow Iranians, the ones of noble essence. I am a sister. A living witness. Wounded by exile, yet faithful to my roots. —My brother, Mahmoud Mehrabi, is behind bars. Not for treason, but for truth. For saying what his conscience would not allow him to keep silent. And I — though my body is free in exile — my heart is not.

I cannot stay silent. Not for myself. Not for him. And not for all the mothers whose hearts have broken under the weight of injustice. I have not only witnessed the fall of Iran, I have felt its devastation deep in my being. I saw with my own eyes how poverty, executions, humiliation, and hatred replaced knowledge, hope, life, and the future. I saw how generations, under the banner of revolution, dragged Iran into darkness — and today, they don’t even carry a trace of shame.

But we are different. We are a generation raised with wounds, made aware through pain, and grown tall through truth. We are not a silent generation. We are awake. I am a voice rising from pain — not for attention, but to remind the world of truth. For my brother, whose voice was shackled, and for my nation, whose voice has been stifled for decades.

And today, I stand here to say: it is time we rise. Hand in hand, voice to voice, wound to wound, dream to dream — for national cooperation, for moving beyond injustice and division. And this passage — it cannot happen without leadership. With full awareness, with all my pain, with the entirety of my conscience, I have chosen Prince Reza Pahlavi — because he reflects what Iran can once again become: free, prosperous, and proud. The only path to salvation is with Prince Reza Pahlavi — who, for years, with no power and no resource other than the people’s trust, has been our voice, our bridge of unity.

National cooperation, to me, means: replacing hatred with dialogue. Replacing rejection with inclusion. Replacing division with bridge-building. And this trust in the Pahlavi family — it doesn't come from emotion; it comes from history. From the memory of a time when Iran built universities, built an army, built hope — and uplifted women, children, and the homeland.

We have memory. We remember what Iran once was — and what it can be again. The Pahlavi family built the shining pages of this land’s history. The Islamic Republic is hammering the last nails into Iran’s coffin. And if we — you, me, all of us — do not stand together, we won’t just lose Iran. We’ll lose our honor, our future, and our entire history.

So let us raise the voice of Iran from her tired throat… As the sister of a political prisoner, as a daughter from the grieving heart of Iran, I extend my hand to all my compatriots: let us, together — with Reza Pahlavi — rebuild the future. And let us tell the world: Together, for one another, for Iran — with unity, with honesty, and with the people’s leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi.”
