Peter should be calling his bankers to do the exact same thing asap. Your stock $RKLB has 10x in a year and at $25b valuation. Take advantage and pull forward investments. Ramping/manufacturing hundreds of Flatellites can’t be done in a facility like this & you can’t ramp Neutron to several flights per year in dirt parking lots.
I get that it would be nice to wait for revenue or contracts, but isn’t it also nice if these facilities got started now vs end of 2026?
I personally would be all for pulling forward that investment. Get the building in the Neutron Flattelite mockup started now.
$1b cash on hand is possible for them if they did it gives lots of flexibility.
Here’s another angle, let’s say 1st Neutron doesn’t make orbit & it’s 1yr & another $100m (so late 2026 into 2027) to fix and build a new one. Would you feel comfortable in that scenario with $400m cash?
Mimicking $ASTS raise next week would be at $XX convert with caped call at $XX or near $50b value. Net dilution would be 5m shares for $500m. They could reduce interest from the XXXX% down to XXX% by flushing the 2024 convert which btw was 23m shares for $300m and now you wouldn’t want to do 5m shares for $500m?
