Few things Amorim said about Bruno that I have been talking about for ages
— Even if Bruno starts midfield, positions will change in game
— When Bruno played at XX last season, we sometimes missed Bruno. He explained what he meant here. When Bruno dropped deeper to collect the ball, there was nobody in the XX position to affect the game. We essentially needed two Brunos.
— “I like it when Beuno has the ball”. This is something I have talked plenty. You give your best player the most possession (most times). Bruno gets that in midfield in XXX formation, not at advanced XX.
— When you have quality attack in front of Bruno, he can run the games
— Bruno can also play 10, when needed.
I mostly paraphrased with my comments. But, Amorim said mostly what I have been saying about Bruno for a long time. Nothing new if you have followed me closely.
