🇺🇦 IMF SLAMS UKRAINE’S NEW LAW: "IT NEUTRALIZES ANTI-CORRUPTION EFFORTS"
Zelensky just signed a bill that weakens the independence of Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies.
He did it despite protests from watchdogs, Western allies, and now…the International Monetary Fund.
The fund says the move threatens Ukraine’s economic stability and reform progress.
Bottom line: don’t expect easy money from donors if you're gutting the rule of law.
Civil society’s calling it a backslide. The IMF’s calling it straight up dangerous.
