🇷🇸🇦🇱 The only ethnic Albanian in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, announced he is boycotting all future parliamentary sessions to protest discrimination against Albanians.
Kamberi cited ongoing human rights violations, non-recognition of diplomas, political underrepresentation and the "passivization of addresses" a policy that removes Albanians from civil registries.
EU Council President Antonio Costa, in a letter to Kamberi, said the EU is monitoring the situation, including the address passivization issue, and remains committed to protecting minority rights in Serbia.
