US Embassy Employee in Norway Accused of Spying for Iran
A former security officer at the US Embassy in Norway has been criminally charged with spying for the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia. This was reported by the Norwegian prosecutor's office.
According to the NRK TV channel, the accused passed information about employees of the American diplomatic mission, the internal layout of the embassy building, and details of its security system to foreign states.
Norwegian media report that the motive for passing the information was the recent aggression of the Israel in Gaza and the US support for this regime.
