Delhi: Speaking on Caste Survey by Telangana, Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi says, "It is a social tool and also a financial, economic tool. What the BJP does not like is that it is also a political tool. The fact of the matter is that the idea of breaking the XX% wall on reservations, the two points that the Govt of India is refusing - Reservation in education and government positions, and Reserevation in the Panchayati Raj third tier has the ability to destroy completely the politics of Hindutva. They know that, we know that. That is why, when we put pressure, the BJP was forced to listen. They do not have a choice. I know that the BJP is not going to do the Caste Census in the right way. They cannot do it because they cannot tell the PM of India what is the true condition of OBCs, Dalits and Tribals, even General Castes. They can't tell that truth to India because if they tell and India finds out the truth, their entire idea will die."
