Who knows the origin of @burnt_xion? Well, I was curious, so I did my findings. Here is what I found.
To truly understand $XION, let's go back to the beginning, where It all started with a $XXXXXX authentic Banksy artwork, a live stream, and a lighter.
The project's founder, as we all know @BurntBanksy, bought a famous Banksy art piece called Morons.
He then went on a live-streamed event, where he set the physical artwork on fire, permanently destroying it. 🔥
Immediately after the fire, an NFT representing the incinerated piece was created. And it sold for nearly 3x the price of the original.
This was an impressive and a massive success, which was covered by BBC, Bloomberg, and other news networks. But behind the scenes of this historic sale, he discovered a serious problem.
Banksy experienced firsthand how clunky, confusing, and unnecessarily difficult the entire Web3 process was. Minting, listing, selling, the user experience was broken.
