Been working with Jordy now for over X months to try and make his dream of a non profit become a reality. First step was to bond. We did this the night before I flew out to Ibiza, I didn’t sleep a wink, chart candled up to 150k in minutes, and then unfortunately as it was unexpected and ahead of schedule we couldn’t maintain, and the post bond jeets kicked our ass.
But the dream still stands. Jordy has been paralysed for XX years and has been streaming pretty much non stop on pump fun since launch, his comedic timing and zest for life are contagious.
CRIP was his first venture into crypto, and he’s since seen first hand, the good, the bad and the ugly. Community members have rallied around him, creating memes, banners, a website and paying for boosts. On the flip side he’s been promised the world by others and let down. And had a well known streamer ridicule him on his stream for attention. I won’t name names..
Jordys plan from day one has been to build a project which could hopefully one day allow him to set up his own non profit, but he also wants to challenge the taboo and the social views around disability. He wants the inappropriate jokes, the memes too close to the bone. He doesn’t want his disability to define him or be treated any differently.
So what’s next….We’re going to align Jordys project with a meme made famous by @TheRoaringKitty during his GameStop investment back in 2021. The lock in meme, with a twist. This has been kindly made free of charge by my good friend @john_skult and his team, further emphasising the charitable nature of this meme and the good which can be done by people in this space.
This change of direction, and symbolic meme of locking in/leaning forward, is going to be the foundation to get Jordy to his dream. There are XXX billion disabled people on earth, and if Jordy can step up and make a difference, and have fun with it along the way, hopefully it can be encouragement to others.
