Genuinely unreal recapping what happened here overnight when I slept on $PUMP !
It was a picture perfect Swing Failure Pattern of all of the lows, with a monster rally ensuing and bottom shorters beginning to be squeezed with an immediate v shaped reversal - exactly what you want to see in an SFP. It was doing this whilst all alts were getting slaughtered too: As you can see, as picture perfect as they come for SFPs. All liquidity grabbed, immediate reversal, to the point in took out entire range highs on a +13% pump in a few hours, looking like it wanted continuation until... Genuinely hilarious. The perfect mix of TA + FA. Alon and the casino continues to maul the little guy.
As a trader, so much to take out of this, particularly in terms of risk management after applying excellent analysis that gifted you a golden entry:
- TP1 was a must here, with a potential stop to entry
- There was no point leaving your stop wider or invalidation below the wick. The SFP had already reverted that hard that a retest to such lows most likely meant the move was being completely faded or something catastrophic was occurring (which it was)
- In that case, you would have still profited from a decent move, then had zero loss incurred with the position closing back at your entry
- This is why leverage trading to me is ideal, given stop losses, take profits, as such are much easier to set up and utilise
- This prevents bagholding a token like this and getting absolutely rekt
