Researchers at ETH Zurich have created MenstruAl, an innovative, affordable diagnostic tool that uses menstrual blood to detect inflammation, cancer (via CEA), and endometriosis (via CA-125) with a disposable test strip integrated into a period pad.
The strip changes color based on protein levels, and users can snap a photo of the used pad, with an Al-powered app delivering instant health insights without a lab or doctor visit.
