Here’s the thing RZA and GZA both had solo albums before there was a Wu Tang Clan so the solo albums actually came before XX if we’re being honest. And even if you don’t wanna count those then the 1st Wu solo albums dropped in ‘94 with Meth’s Tical not ‘98 like you said. Hell by ‘98 we had Meth, Dirty, GZA AND Ghost’s solo albums! Again I know I’m the only person who sees Wu as a “crew” and not a “group” which is cool but to me at the end of the day, numbers don’t lie…how many hip hop groups have XX members? None. But there’s a rack of “crews” that do.🤷🏾♂️
