Summary of Maid Mint sharing her experience with VShojo :
• Worked with VShojo during her and Matara's podcast last year. She wasn’t a member, but collaborated on merch • Didn’t receive money from merch drops. Said “it wasn’t really about that” and let it go • She and Matara still received Patreon income • In Japan, opened up to Matara about feeling lonely and wanting to join a group or company • Came up with the idea to pitch an idol group to VShojo. Gunrun was supportive • Signed on "technically" as a member. They auditioned two others, and she clarifies it wasn’t Berri or Pia • Team mainly worked with VShojo’s JP side. Progress was slow, but she was happy to be working toward a shared goal • Adds that some opportunities likely won’t happen now • Debut kept getting delayed. It was understandable at first but became frustrating • Another merch drop happened. She again didn’t receive any money from it • Stayed optimistic, thinking “it’ll be okay, it'll work out” • Clarifies she wasn’t an outward facing talent, but says “I guess I was a talent for over a year” • Says staff and former staff were mostly good people who didn’t know what was happening • Eventually informed by the team • Apologized for the trouble and hopes people will continue to support the talents (sharing my notes if someone finds these useful, I also added the link to her stream below if you want to check it in full)
