Keep the IRS.
Republicans pushed for the income tax amendment to be a Super Tax on the top XX% of the population at a single-digit rate as we saw the unprecedented concentration of wealth from the Industrial Revolution, but it turned into the monstrosity it is now after two World Wars.
If we abolished both then people propose a national sales tax, but this would be more regressive and cut into state sales taxes/federalism.
My view is we should lower overall taxation by a lot while shifting more of the burden onto unearned income, luxuries, and sin.
