I know a lot of investors think its weak to take losses. The real truth is that learning when and how to take losses makes one a better investor. I always sell my losers into the huge rallies when I am pushing all time highs. That gives me cash to put to work in winners on a pullback. Loss aversion is a weakness. Learning to take losses when it best benefits you makes you a stronger investor. No investor is perfect. Take the losses and move on. That is what great investors do.
