JAM
There as been a lot of discussion on X lately about @Polkadot JAM, the latest being that Kusama will first integrate JAM before Polkadot (that is if it passes on OpenGov)
So here's what I know about JAM, I may still come up with something more comprehensive.
JAM is Join-Accumulate Machine, it is the upcoming upgrade of Polkadot, set to replace the existing Relay Chain. It upgrades Polkadot from a specialized blockchain network into a more flexible and powerful system by:
• Solving the limitations around how parachains interact
• Moving beyond the strict parachain-only model
• Opening the door to a wider range of services and applications
This upgrade aims to make Polkadot more adaptable, scalable, and developer-friendly, all without losing what makes it unique.
