For every aspiring or qualified Chartered Accountant, these "golden words" from the Supreme Court in T.D. Venkat Rao v. UOI (237 ITR 315) are a powerful affirmation! The SC has certified what we inherently know: "Chartered Accountants, by reason of their training have special aptitude in the matter of audits and no other person can be held eligible to conduct audit under Section 44AB. Supreme Court further held that CAs are a Class by themselves meaning that CAs are the brand for auditing itself." Becoming a CA is undeniably one of the toughest journeys, and I am immensely proud to be among those who've conquered it.
