The unfortunate reality is that $70K is not a "good salary" in places where rent is $2400.
If he doesn't want to do OT, then he needs to find a different way to make money. Or move where the cost of living is cheaper. 🤷♀️
In my world, I know folks working around the clock to build something for themselves. Either side hustles on top of day jobs, or businesses.
You can't get ahead on a single salary. But good for him for moving back home to save money. That's smart.
