$MFI: Volatility post reverse split but further uncovered DD over the weekend.
- Trend Up Investments (where the new CEO came from) is licensed in HK with a type X and X and recently got a VA Uplift (for virtual asset management)
- Trend Up employee bios reference support for: Virtual Asset (VA) Type X license applications, crypto fund setups, and onboarding of custodians, exchanges, and DPT license firms.
- Trend Up and Fire Lucky (Yuan Dawei's acquiring co) both share the same address at XX Queen's Road Central indicating that Trend Up is directly linked to Dawei
- Multiple job postings for Trend Up Investments in recent weeks list the application email to hr@wind.com, which seems like a SubCo. The job postings uses a yellow "W" logo for Wind:
- The email address linked to Trend Up job postings show deliberate branding under despite no public-facing website currently resolving (now intermittently redirecting to GoDaddy or remaining idle. Wind domain is quite valuable and has been acquired in 2019 and seems like it's maybe close to being operational
As mentioned multiple times this is a special situation high risk trade and no idea what the final outcome will be but I'm still holding. Low floats go both ways.
