📌Figure Technology Solutions and Figure Markets Merge
Figure Technology Solutions and Figure Markets have announced a merger to form a unified blockchain-native company aiming to modernize global capital markets through real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
The new entity, retaining the name Figure Technology Solutions, will combine a dominant consumer credit marketplace with a rapidly growing digital asset exchange to offer a full-stack infrastructure for originating, tokenizing, and trading assets such as home equity loans, mortgages, and private credit.
The unified platform integrates Figure Connect, which has originated over $XX billion in tokenized consumer loans, and Democratized Prime, a decentralized prime brokerage that connects capital directly to tokenized collateral and supports crypto assets, stablecoins, and crypto-backed loans.
The merger, pending shareholder and regulatory approval, is expected to close later this summer, with the unified company led by CEO Michael Tannenbaum and backed by a seasoned fintech and blockchain team.
