The Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS) and the earlier Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) were both initiated under Conservative governments: •ARAP (for those who worked with British forces): announced in April 2021, when Boris Johnson was PM. •ACRS (wider humanitarian scheme): announced in August 2021 after the fall of Kabul, also under Johnson’s Conservative government.
So yes — it was the Conservatives who signed off on both schemes, not Labour.
