🌱 BOB – A New Bridge Between Bitcoin and Ethereum?
I recently delved into @build_on_bob and I have to say: this could be the missing piece in the BTCfi ecosystem. Let's take a look at the X most prominent points 👇
1/ Extremely accessible user experience • Simple, friendly interface • 1-click stake BTC • Smooth connection with familiar Ethereum wallets → Newbies can also start BTCfi without being "overwhelmed"
2/ Combining powerful technology from OP Stack & BitVM • Using OP Stack from @Optimism • Taking advantage of BitVM from @babylonlabs_io → Both EVM compatible (easy to use Solidity, Remix…) → While ensuring the original security of Bitcoin
It's no surprise that @Uniswap and @aave are also starting to pay attention to this system.
3/ BTC bridge without multi-signature (multisig) In cooperation with @fiamma_labs, BOB creates a bridge solution: • 1-of-n security model • BTC bridge time under X hour → No longer have to depend on multisig as before → Increase both speed and trust when bringing BTC into DeFi
