First thing I did when I got into crypto was buy anything and everything.
Up only for X months. I was a genius.
#Bitcoin hit $XXXXXX. Altcoins rocketed. Whole market dumped, bounced back up (dead cat bounce) and I sold after it started to drop again. Cashed out.
I thought to myself, Why would people sell Crypto? It's so early. Doesn't make any sense. There's got to be a reason. Then I learned about bull and bear markets. So I said how about I learn the markets better and then I can be more educated on what I'm doing with my money and hopefully not be caught off guard by the next bear market.
I learned about market cycles, market psychology, accumulation, distribution, risk management, diversification, and much more.
It's better to know what you're doing so you can do it right rather than just hope you're doing it right. Take time to educate yourself and you'll be more confident going forward.
