I get what you are saying but respectfully, watching a show naturally without pausing is not “powering” through it. I enjoy the deep shows with layers like Severance where u can naturally watch and understand but theres hidden stuff once u get context, but pausing on a show every two minutes every episode is a bit ridiculous and yes, just read the book at that point. In my opinion the show is not doing the source material any real justice. It just looks amazing. It genuinely seems like a great story!
