The era of people doing things in Web3 and then hoping that they win is long gone!

Projects actually raise money or additional funds just based on the number of people using or testing their products. A good number of times, a project raising $60M or $70M is not really about their product. It's about how many people are currently on their testnet (which investors translate as demand).

It takes nothing for projects to actually reward these testers, but they don't. It's deliberate, and Kaito is proof of that.

Many of you still don't understand what's happening on Kaito, so let me break it down. On Kaito, projects clearly state things like "We're giving 0.5%" to yappers and all that. People are told exactly what rewards are up for grabs before even doing anything or yapping.

However, testnet users get radio silence. For testnet users, projects just say “Testnet participants will be rewarded.

Here's the fact: When it comes to testnet rewards, it's not enough to say that testnet users will be rewarded. Projects should go up a notch and clearly state how much reward or how many percent of supply is allocated to testnet users, the exact same way they do for Kaito.

We're in a space where we preach transparency. Even the blockchain is all about transparency. So if a product or blockchain is not going to be transparent about how much rewards will be available to testnet users, people will simply stop testing and move to where the money is.

Projects try to make it seem they’re the ones doing testnet users a favor when it’s actually the other way round. Gone are the days when people were content with testing and ”hoping.” There's no reason why you should be running anybody's testnet in hope!

You're not a "hoper," and this is not religion! Don't do anything in hope. Be brutally intentional about your actions and do things in full understanding of what you're doing it for.

That's exactly what Kaito has done. If a project requires people to use their testnet, let them also open up to state how specifically what rewards or what percentage of supply they are willing to reserve for testnet people. If this doesn't happen, eventually nobody will be testing any product.
