Source: Hong Kong to Arrange Stablecoin Licensing via Invitation-Only Application System
According to HashNews, Hong Kong will implement the 'Stablecoin Ordinance' on August 1, 2025, and initiate the application for stablecoin licenses. Instead of utilizing a self-download application form by applicants, a system similar to invitation-only application will be adopted. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority will conduct pre-screening to assess whether the applicant meets basic capital requirements.
