Carjackings have turned into murder, Canada.
An 82-year-old man, Larry Pearce, was killed during a carjacking at Charles Daley Park in St. Catharines. He was leaving the park Thursday morning when someone tried to steal his car. Larry got out and tried to stop them, but was hit and seriously hurt. He died in hospital the next day.
This wasn’t just a hit-and-run. This was a violent carjacking that ended in the death of an innocent man.
