I’m so happy to be heavily invested in junior gold miners. My biggest positions are: $MMY.V, $SOMA.V, $JAG.TO, $SOLG.L, $ALTN.L, $SBI.TO
When investing in gold miners, I choose the best ones—not just $GDX or $GDXJ. I use two different formulas with different approaches:
Minimize EV/FCF – This shows how many years it would take to pay back my investment, which is somewhat similar to a payback period.
Maximize (NPV - EV)/MC – This helps identify which miner offers the best long-term potential.
What’s your opinion — which stocks should I add? What should I sell, and why? Please don’t recommend non-mining stocks like $NVDA. I’m not interested in companies trading at a P/E of XX with unclear long-term prospects. I can buy a growing gold miner at a P/E of X and get an interest in gold for free! What is normally called commodity risk, I consider an upside opportunity! Because gold is going up.
