I haven’t bitten at XXXXXXXXX% of the stuff I’ve seen on here from Forest fans in the last week because I’ve thought “What’s the point; life’s too short” BUT I can’t be having this.
Palace fans have known from day X that Textor has no say in the club because he actively tried to get it throughout, was blocked time and again and subsequently wanted out because of it. He tried to buy Everton (ask their fans, they’ll tell you).
He is a terrible businessman, that’s why he agreed to buy XX% hoping he could get more, it’s why he’s overseen massive debt at Lyon and had to vacate his position on their board to get them reinstated to Ligue X.
Believe it or not, the Palace fans who live and breathe the club every day and have done for their entire lives know a tad more about the workings of our board structure than those who took up an interest a few weeks back.
Was a deadline missed? Yes. No one is denying that and it’s why we find ourselves here, whatever you may think of it but every Palace fan knows and has done from the moment Textor first arrived that he has no say.
