In Bengaluru, a growing number of small vendors and shopkeepers are refusing to accept UPI payments and are opting for cash-only transactions.
This comes after Karnataka’s Commercial Tax Department issued notices to traders who allegedly evaded GST despite earning over ₹40 lakh annually through UPI.
Traders are set to hold a statewide bandh on July XX.
