Interesting things are being build on Bitcoin. Coinbase Ventures backed @PortaltoBitcoin has finally announced its much-awaited tokenomics.
Here's everything you need to know about its token $PTB:
- Max Supply: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
- Supply at TGE: XXXXXXXXXXX
- Airdrop allocation: XXXXXXXXXXX
The entire token will be vested over XX years to minimize token dilution.
But here's something that caught my attention.
Their token buyback and burn mechanism.
Every swap on Portal incurs a XXX% protocol fee, XXX% of which will be used to buy $PTB on the open market and burn it.
This will make a balance between supply/demand and will act as a bullish catalyst.
As I said before, DeFi on Bitcoin has massive potential and Portal to Bitcoin is doing exactly that.
