Their dedication has paid off, and we are thrilled to announce that the definition of "accountant" now exclusively includes Chartered Accountants. This is a monumental achievement that reinforces our dignity and pride. As per the latest provisions (referencing the attached sections 515(1) and the definition of "accountant" under section 2(1)(b) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949), the government has acknowledged and solidified the unique role of CAs.
