Thanks! One way to think about this is, Ethereum sells blockchain security with compression of L2 -> L1.
The L2 is happening...take a look at JPMD (JPMorgan L2), Soneium (Sony), Deutsche Bank's L2, and Optimism/Op Stack. Optimism is an L2 but their business is to sell their stack to easily deploy L2. There are a lot more that I'm not aware of it.
