Heisei & Millennium era producer Shogo Tomiyama wants to make a new family-friendly Godzilla film series separate from ‘Shin Godzilla’ and ‘Godzilla Minus One’.
“This would be a fun series centered on monster battles, combining traditional miniature models and suitmation techniques with modern visual effects for a unique look. Maybe Godzilla wouldn't be the main character. So how about Mothra? King Ghidorah? My recommendation is Mechagodzilla. Imagine Mechagodzilla battling a new monster every year. Wouldn't it be wonderful to celebrate Christmas and New Year with such films in theaters each year?”
