The "buy the dip" strategy has been remarkably effective this year:
The cumulative return from buying the Nasdaq XXX after a down day has been ~32% year-to-date, the highest in X years.
At this pace, 2025 is on track to record the best year for this strategy since at least 1985.
This has even outperformed the returns seen during the Dot-Com Bubble years of 1998 and 1999.
By comparison, the return at this point last year was just ~5%.
This comes as the Nasdaq XXX has been down in XX out of XXX trading days so far this year.
Volatility is a trading opportunity.
