Crypto needs cooler creators
Not just the normal written content, or videos staring at the camera shilling some dogshit product or chain
But genuinely cool and entertaining people who love what they do. We need new main character creators/influencers that normies would watch and jive with, even if they didn’t know everything about crypto
I think Threadguy was the closest we got to this. I also really like a lot of Rasmr’s videos (the Fartcoin one was amazing). And whether you like them or not, creators like TJR and Orangie that have large tiktok followings also contribute to making crypto look cool. Podcast style streams are also good, but streaming solely to a crypto-native streaming platform or X has a (currently) very capped potential
It honestly feels like creators aren’t even creating these days. They’re just posting to get paid, and there’s a huge lack of passion and enthusiasm
And simply put, a lot of creators don’t have any swag (I feel very cringe writing this but it’s true) and won’t appeal to a normie or crypto-curious audience
I think we’ll see new (or newer) creators that are entertaining, fun, and charismatic, start to find their footing and grow very fast, very soon
