BHEL Celebrates Yoga Day with fervour
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, the 11th International Day of Yoga, themed ‘Yoga For One Earth, One Health’, was celebrated with great enthusiasm today by BHEL at its township in Noida. Sh. Kamran Rizvi, Secretary (HI) was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Addl. Secretary (MHI), Sh. Vijay Mittal, Joint Secretary (MHI), Sh. Prem Chandra Maurya, Joint Secretary (MHI) and Dr. Renuka Mishra, Economic Advisor, MHI also graced the event with their presence. Sh. K. Sadashiv Murthy, CMD, BHEL, and Functional Directors on the board of BHEL participated in the event, along with other senior officials of MHI & BHEL.
The highlight of the celebration was a yoga session held at the parade ground of the BHEL township in Noida. The dignitaries and a large number of employees along with their family members performed Yoga Asanas as per the Common Yoga Protocol issued by the Ministry of Ayush, GoI.
