It's pretty laughable that the @Target CEO blames his lousy quarter on the backlash AGAINST his cutting back on woke corporatism. Lets be clear, Target has been facing significant consumer headwinds since it went all in on DEI, and its flamboyant embrace of Pride Month back in 2023. I've asked for a comment on how he knows that reversing DEI is responsible for a counter backlash of material proportions. Lets see what they come up with. In the meantime, it's a better bet that Target like @budweiserusa is suffering from a long-term brand dissatisfaction because it went so woke for so long
