LEVI'S TO SELL DOCKERS BRAND FOR $311M
Levi's created Dockers in 1986 and grew the brand largely thanks to the rise of casual fridays in the 90s. Fast forward to 2024 and the brand
Docker's sales for 2024 were $323m, about X% of Levi's $6.4B of revenue and shrinking X% YoY. That makes this sales multiple just over 1x not including the earnout of 80m
This is more of the same in a struggling apparel sector where Authentic Brands Group, WHP, and others are seemingly the only ones willing to pick up the scraps - Authentic Brands Group as the buyer here
