This is a brand new (less than a week old when I shot this) Mack LR/ Heil HalfPack Freedom FEL and boy is it nice. They put it up in my city in replacement of [----]. This truck runs in Barberton M-W and Munroe Falls Thursday but is just a help truck Friday. My trash guy was in a rear loader so they sent him up to run the back 1/3rd or so of the route. This was something I found about and was surprised to find in Northeast Ohio. The small village of Highland Hills does their own collection with their entire service department in one day and the large crew made for an interesting touch to the video. Normally this truck has a route but they had to shuffle some trucks around because they are so short and it made more sense to put a rear loader on that route than out here. We have actually had this truck for a few years now it came with in the batch of trucks we got from Cleveland a few years back. It's a pretty good truck but it' a conventional front loader. They ought to put a Curotto on it and it would be one of our better trucks. I hope the cart fans enjoy this"

Kimble got couple CCC rear loaders in last year but I had no luck finding them. It makes sense seeing as the Battle/CCC factory is literally a stone's throw from Kimble HQ. Then this year I saw they had one of these at Waste Expo. They were hard to come by but credit to Buckeye State Solid Waste for tracking one down in South Euclid. Surprisingly they were able to get considerably more on than both me and the driver thought. Sign of a good truck- it just kept taking it. Kimble has been getting a very healthy mix of these in along with Autocars.
