This crossing still retains one WC Hayes mechanical bell on the left signal fortunately. This crossing has an early 2010s UP signal because it's a knock down replacement of the former signal which was identical to the left signal another SP 90s signal install. Union Pacific"

"UP [----] Grain Train North E 9th St. Railroad Crossing Madera CA Jan [--] [----] 9:09am After the SB manifest a NB grainer pulled through Madera with me moving to the E 9th St xing here which also features an abandoned spur track protected by crossbucks only that only are rails in the roadway and nowhere else. It looks as if its trackage curved around something as the track is slanted at the crossing and there is a bridge remnant left of the line also slanted. This crossing is also a typical 90s SP signal install. The left hand WCH E-Bell seemed to have lost its tone or is dead. Union Pacific"

"UP [----] Manifest South (CA 145) W Yosemite Ave. Railroad Crossing Madera CA Jan [--] [----] 8:49am For my first catch of this day down this way in Madera it was this manifest which I also passed when it was sitting in a siding as a northbound went by that I also passed up the line it was waiting on. I first set up at E Central in case it was the local but decided to move since I haven't seen the local at the Notarb Siding and I would of if it had came out so I moved and set up here to start the day and the roadway being another Yosemite to add to the books of crossings I filmed with that name."
